Dr. Nathan Newman

As a board-certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Newman has been a leading figure in the field of regenerative medicine, stem cell research, and cutting edge stem cell technology. In his prestigious outpatient surgical and medical center in Beverly Hills, Dr. Newman has been performing cosmetic surgery using proprietary stem cell technology since 2004.
In 2010, Dr. Newman co-founded Rinati Skin, LLC, a Cosmetics and Biotech Technology company aimed at developing innovative skin care products and treatments using stem cells.
Dr. Newman attended the University of Southern California (USC) where co-authored two clinical research projects “Substantivity of UVA Sunscreens” and “Current Methods for Testing Chemicals for UVA Efficacy”. He then received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY where he was the founder and editor of The Einstein Times, a student publication. In his second year of medical school, Dr. Newman presented his case study “Clinical Improvement of Photo Aged Skin With 50% Glycolic Acid: A double blind, vehicle-controlled study” to the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery in Scottsdale, AZ.
Dr. Newman did an internship of internal medicine at the UCLA-Wadsworth VA hospital in Los Angeles, followed by a residency in Dermatology at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago. During his residency he published two papers and took part in the American Academy Dermatology Annual Meeting, Gross and Microscopic Symposium. Dr. Newman completed a fellowship in cosmetic surgery when he discovered his passion for innovation and the use of stem cell technology.
In his private practice Dr. Newman specializes in regenerative medicine. He is the top global expert in treating Lichen Sclerosus, an autoimmune disease, using stem cell technology. His work in the field has opened new pathways for using stem cells in the medical field.
In addition to treating patients, Dr. Newman has developed a proprietary technology for using the secretory factors of plant stem cells that is being used for various cosmetic products he developed, including the Luminesce® and RVL® lines of products.
In his free time, Dr. Newman pursues philanthropic and volunteer endeavors working on causes ranging from education to pro-bono medical services.
