Dr. Nathan Newman- Co-founder and CEO of RINATI SKIN, LLC.
Dr. Newman graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA where he took part in two clinical research projects regarding ‘Substantivity of UVA sunscreens’ and ‘Current methods for testing chemicals for UVA efficacy. He then continued to Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY where he completed his Doctorate. During his time there, he became a founder and editor of The Einstein Times, a student publication that ran from 1991-93. While in his second year of medical school, Dr. Newman presented his case study “Clinical Improvement of Photo Aged Skin With 50% Glycolic Acid: A Double blind, vehicle-controlled study” to the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery in Scottsdale, AZ.
He concluded his internship at ULCA-Wadsworth VA in their Internal Medicine department in West Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Newman, completed his residency in Dermatology at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. During his residency he published two papers and took part in the American Academy Dermatology Annual Meeting, Gross and Microscopic Symposium.
For his fellowship, Dr. Newman returned to California and took up a position as a Cosmetic Surgeon in Riverside where he discovered his passion for innovation and the use of stem cell technology. Seeking to maximize the personalized care and treatment of his patients, Dr. Newman opened his own private practice and outpatient surgical and medical center in Beverly Hills. Since 2004, he has been a key figure in the advancement of stem cells for cosmetic surgery. Dr. Newman has used his experience and innovations to become one of the few doctors in America to help treat Lichen sclerosus, an autoimmune disease. His work in the field has opened new pathways for how stem cells can be used in the medical field. Amongst his many achievements, Dr. Newman has created several Cosmetic Products and Lines, including the Luminesce® and RVL® lines of products based on his stem cell research and platform.
As a board-certified Dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Newman is leading the charge in new, cutting edge stem cell technology. In 2009, Dr. Newman founded Rinati Skin, LLC, a Cosmetics and Biotech Technology company aimed at progressing and innovating skin care products and treatments through the use of stem cells.
In addition to managing a successful medical practice, surgical center and leading the team at Rinati Skin, Dr. Newman always makes time for philanthropic endeavors. Dr. Newman is a leader in his community, working with causes ranging from education to pro-bono medical services.
Rinat Newman – Co-Founder and CVO of Rinati Skin, LLC
Rinat Newman is the Chief Visionary Officer and cofounder of Rinati Skin, a cosmetics and bio-pharmacology research and manufacturing company. She is responsible for Strategy, Sales and Marketing.
Before founding Rinati Skin in 2009, Ms. Newman was a career military officer serving at the National Defence University, a practicing attorney, and an executive at a consulate.
In addition to dedicating her professional career to public service, Ms. Newman is also a passionate volunteer and a philanthropist. She is currently serving as Vice-chair of Wizo LA and as President of the PTA at Maimonides Academy in Los Angeles.
Ms. Newman holds an LL.B (Bachelor of Laws degree) from Sha’arei Mishpat College in Israel.
Maya Bodow- Chief Operating Officer
Following her service as a Lieutenant in the military training other officers, Ms. Bodow decided to compliment her leadership experience with formal education earning a B.A. in Business Administration and Organizational Psychology. After honing her management skills for five years in the retail sales industry, Ms. Bodow went to work as an Administrative Assistant to the Consul at the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles, CA. In her five years there, she gained a wide array of experience working as a budget officer for the service department and training other employees in task efficiency and professional conduct. Ms. Bodow continued her education and obtained a Masters Degree from Pepperdine Law in Dispute Resolution. Ms. Bodow has been with Rinati Skin since its founding and has been a key asset in the company’s growth and development. Ms. Bodow has brought her strong leadership skills to the role of Chief Operating Officer turning Rinati Skin into a leading manufacturer and designer in the Biotechnology field. Her skills as a leader and problem solver make the company and its staff efficient and respondent to the needs of our customers. In addition to her professional success, Ms. Bodow follows her passion for animals, volunteering at animal shelters
Marcelo Rotsztejn- Manufacturing and Production Manager for Rinati Skin.
After serving in the military, Mr. Rotsztejn received his Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from the internationally renowned program at the University of Jerusalem at Rehovot. Over the past thirty-eight years since graduating, Mr. Rotsztejn has used his skills to successfully manage, advise and operate companies in a variety of fields. Aside from his experience in managing agricultural production, Mr. Rotsztejn has experience in the financial industry receiving a diploma in Mortgage Banking & Finance. Using this combination of education and real-world experience Mr. Rotsztejn took his talents to the manufacturing industry where he has approximately twenty years of experience. Since May of 2019 Mr. Rotsztejn has brought his wealth of experience and business acumen to the manufacturing/production department of Rinati Skin. His experience and abilities have already translated into increased efficiency and customer satisfaction with Rinati Skin’s product lines.
